Guided By You was created out of the need to educate. We observed that so many people did not truly understand finance which in turn led to their poor decision-making for themselves and their family members. Since finance affects all aspects of our life, these poor decisions are usually passed on to the next generation.
Our Goal
Our goal is to educate and facilitate the learning process as it relates to increasing you and your family's wealth. We do this by allowing you to learn during the session about the various aspects of finance. In the meetings we speak about topics such as how to manage money, how to obtain assets, to create a credit strategy, to increase wealth, and decrease debt.
What we do
Guided By You provides non-judgmental client-centered sessions that focus on helping individuals and/or families achieve their financial goals. One way we assist you in achieving your goals is by becoming your accountability coach. We walk side by side with you in your financial journey by providing clear communication, transparency, and consistency. We look forward to helping you leave a legacy of financial acumen!!

A lot of our decisions are based on our education and our current mindset. Therefore, if you were not aware of financial terms before you made that decision or how it may affect you in the future, then you made the best decision based on the information that you had. At Guided By You, our goal is to educate you on financial terms and provide the advantages and disadvantages about a decision you plan to make and how it may affect you and your family in the future.
The easiest way to teach our children finance is for you to show your children how you spend your money. Sit down with your children when you are paying your bills and allow them to see how you're making the decisions in terms of what bills to pay when income comes into the house.
A lot of us did not learn about finance in school however we still had to use money to survive. Most of us learned finance by utilizing money, such as paying rent or purchasing a car or buying groceries. We all use finance every day however Guided By You goal is to help you utilize finance so that you can achieve your dreams.
